Hey everyone! I have the perfect biscuit recipe to share with you tonight. These are SO good and perfectly fluffy. I love extremely fluffy biscuits, and these definitely fit the bill. I'm sure they could possibly be even better if you used buttermilk, but regular milk is just fine in them! I even used fat free milk at that! Homemade biscuits are ridiculously easy and taste so much better than canned. These were delicious with some homemade milk gravy, and some grape jelly. Either way you enjoy them, these are great!

Ingredients:
2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Egg
2/3 Cup Fat Free Milk
-
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Whisk egg and milk; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Turn onto a well-floured surface; knead 20 times. Roll to a 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a floured biscuit cutter or a drinking glass. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet or cake pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
