Peanut Butter Criss-Cross Cookies


Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Chunky Peanut Butter
1 Stick Butter
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Directions:
In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter, vanilla and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add in the flour mixture to the wet mixture until combined. Scoop out a tablespoon size amount of dough and roll into a ball, then flatten slightly. With a fork, make 1 indention length wise, then 1 width wise. Bake in a pre-heated 325 degree oven for 10 minutes.

  5. Peanut butter cookies are hubbies all time favorite. I've made them so many times I don't even need to look up the recipe, haha. Maybe I'll throw him a curve and try yours.

  8. These look like perfect pb cookies! I just made some the other day, too. (Too lazy to check and see if they are the same recipe. But yours look a little more "perfect" than mine did.) The kids sure love these.
