Mountain Dew Cake

Happy Sunday! Who's excited about the Grammy's tonight? While I'm definitely excited about them (hello, Justin Timberlake is performing!) I may be more excited that The Walking Dead is returning! In early January my husband and I decided to try it out on Netflix and we watched every single episode and couldn't wait until it returned to tv. I may be posting this too late in the day, but if you're looking for a little sweet treat for your tv watching tonight, this cake will hit the spot! 

Ingredients (cake):
1 Box Lemon Cake Mix
1 1/2 (12 oz. can) Cups Mountain Dew
4 Eggs
3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil

Ingredients (glaze):
3 Cups Confectioners Sugar
1/4 Cup plus 1 Tablespoon Mountain Dew

In a mixing bowl, combine your cake mix, soda, eggs and vegetable oil. Mix until everything is evenly combined.
 Spray a bundt pan with nonstick spray and pour your cake batter into it and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, insert a toothpick to check for done-ness. If it comes out clean, you're good to go.
 Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes then transfer cake to a wire rack with foil or wax paper set underneath to catch the extra glaze. 
Once cake is cooled completely, mix the ingredients for your glaze and pour over the cake. Let glaze set and serve.
