Italian Baked Spaghetti

Happy Monday! I'm about to head to my kitchen to make some cake pops, but I wanted to share this recipe with you all real quick because I'm soo excited about it! It turned out fantastic and really had a different flavor than just your normal baked spaghetti dish. It goes great with some cheesy garlic bread too! I took some help from the store this time, but if you want homemade then give my Cheesy Garlic Bread a try! Enjoy!

PS - Have you entered my latest giveaway yet? Head on over here to see the details:

Ingredients:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Jar Marinara Sauce (or homemade, here is my Homemade Marinara recipe)
16 oz Box Spaghetti, broke in half
2 Cups Shredded Italian Cheese Blend
15 Slices Hard Salami, cut into little strips
1/2 Cup Diced Onion
1/2 Cup Diced Green Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

Heat your marinara sauce up in a small saucepan and leave it on low heat until you finish everything else.

In a skillet, add your beef, onion and green pepper; cook until the beef is no longer pink and drain any excess fat. Add the salami and mix it all together and keep on low heat.

Boil your pasta according to package directions, after you drain it you can return it back to the pot you boiled it in and drizzle some olive oil over it so it won't stick together.

Take a oven safe baking dish and first put 1/3 of your sauce down and spread it evenly around the bottom of the dish. Next place half of your spaghetti in the dish, then top with half of your meat mixture, followed by half of your cheese. Now put down more sauce, then spaghetti, meat, the rest of your sauce followed by the rest of your cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes.
